Zendrop’s Product List -The Best Items to Sell in 2024!

There are several platforms to choose from for dropshipping, all offering different services. Zendrop is one of the largest in terms of selection with over a million products, after AliExpress of course probably has over a billion products.

Zendrop has a heap of features to negate many of the pitfalls you’ll come across on other platforms, and could potentially end up saving you a lot of money and time. If you’re after more information on Zendrop, check out my review here.

Let me be clear, Zendrop is not for everyone and if you’re more advanced or you’re on a tight budget, you could probably manage it. However, if you can manage $49 a month, it may be worth considering.

This article is essentially a product guide for those looking to use Zendrop. I’ve gone through Zendrop’s catalog of products and given my opinion on the best products to sell, the products you should avoid and more.

So what products does Zendrop offer? With over a million products, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a product Zendrop doesn’t have. The beauty of Zendrop is if you have a product in mind you want to sell but they don’t stock it, they have a feature called product sourcing. This means you can send Zendrop the link to a product from another platform and they can usually source the product for you.

I’ve navigated through a lot of the products on Zendrop to compare them with AliExpress and they are generally around the same or more expensive. Often the products are priced similar to AliExpress and often higher.

Zendrop claims to go directly to manufacturers and avoid all the middlemen to get the lowest possible prices. This makes me skeptical as to why the product prices are not lower. I can only assume Zendrop is taking a decent cut of each product being sold but I am only speculating.

The problem with AliExpress is most of the suppliers are regular people working from home who are being a middleman themselves and marking up the product price. By the time a product is listed on AliExpress, it is likely to have passed through several middlemen all jacking up the product price.

You may wonder then, why you would pay $49 a month for products at a similar price to AliExpress. Basically, as a beginner with AliExpress, there are endless problems that can and often do arise when dealing with AliExpress suppliers.

I’ve researched the Zendrop catalog of products and I’ve listed the products I believe to be the best to sell. I have based my opinion on several factors:

• The product needs to be sold at a high enough price point to make it profitable after advertising costs.
• The product needs to be evergreen.
• The product can’t be saturated.
• The product needs some proof of demand.
• The product needs to either solve a problem, be passion-based or have a wow factor.
• The product needs to be small enough that it can be shipped at a reasonable cost.
• The product needs to be relatively simple in terms of ease of use and not easily breakable.

Worst Products to Dropship from Zendrop’s Catalog

Even though Zendrop personally chooses all their own products based on what they believe consumers will buy and which are best for profits, there are a lot of them I wouldn’t personally sell. Below are the products you should either avoid or be wary of if you plan to dropship.

If you’re looking for an alternative to Zendrop, I reviewed Spocket where I provide an unbiased opinion on the best and worst Spocket products to sell (Spoiler alert, most aren’t worth selling).

• If you plan to sell anything with complicated electronics, order a sample first. These types of products often don’t work as well as they are advertised and if they don’t you’ll be dealing with a lot of returns and refunds.
• If you want to avoid returns and refunds, clothing will be one niche you may want to avoid. Clothing is the most returned product online and if you plan to sell it, be clear of all the measurements and materials to your customers.
• Everyday products consumers can source locally are usually difficult to sell. It’s really hard to persuade people to buy a product from you that they can buy from a shopping center.
• This is an obvious one… Avoid selling products where you can’t make a decent profit margin. Don’t forget to factor in all your shipping, advertising and any other costs.

You can build a general store with a large selection of products. This can be a great way to test and validate products. Once a product is proven to be profitable, you can look at building a separate store based around that specific product.
